The New Way to success. advance. progress.
The ARCSys vision is to provide innovative applications for specialized accounting. Making complicated and highly detailed processes straight forward and simple.
Who We Are
ARCSys was born from a vision of Michael Umscheid's while speaking at a seminar in 2009 for financial institution executives. Discussing the exposure document released by FASB concerning Disclosures about Credit Quality and the Allowance for Credit Losses, Mike listened to attendee questions and realized that many financial institutions would struggle with the new GAAP Standard. Mike believes luck is where preparation meets opportunity and after several discussions, founded ARCSys™ along with IT expert, Dean Rodil. With a combined 45 years of experience between them, Mike and Dean bring a wealth of accounting preparation and IT management knowledge. The core team also includes software and applications developer Steven Ballagh, former accountant and auditor Dale Fago and UI/UX and web technologies expert Charles Cooper. So where does the name ARCSys come from? Accounting, Reporting and Calculation Systems - pulled right from what the system does. We like numbers. We know IT. We provide Innovative Solutions in a Regulated World.
Over the years ARCSys™ has continued to expand and add functionality to its software suite and in 2015 released ACL 2.0 which provides Stress Testing and Forecasting, and addressing the latest FASB standards. ARCSys™ will continue to provide innovation and specialized accounting products using innovation and the latest technology.
ARCSys™ added a Data Warehouse for Risk Migration, Static Pool and Specialized reporting.
ARCSys™ added the ability to add additional information outside of direct core data including credit reporting agencies and credit risk calculation data.
ARCSys™ was founded in 2010 by Mike Umscheid. Having spent a majority of his career in public accounting and audit Mike had a passion for helping institutions. Mike took this passion and his expertise in the audit and regulatory space and focused it on helping institutions and companies address their accounting practices by developing SaaS based offerings. The ACL Calculator was released in 2010 and was quickly adopted by financial institutions across the country.
